I have been developing professional applications in the .Net Framework well over 10 years. Most of my experience has been in developing commercial and customized Autodesk Revit plugins (MWF, Team Notes, View Browser). I worked on ASP.Net web apps, mainly on my work with PTBot where we track tonnage usage for PT tendons.
Before starting with the .Net framework I had a strong background in the C and C++ programming languages and I was able to carry over most of that knowledge onto C#. I also had a background in Visual Basic which makes me quite at ease in dealing with Visual Basic .Net.
